fairplaymusic has been set up to help artists receive fair compensation for the work they create. Currently we are focusing on Spotify and the way they compensate artists for plays.

With COVID-19 affecting the way artists generate income, it is time that companies like Spotify step up and pay artists fairly. We are calling this campaign "Fair Pay for Fair Play" and encouraging musicians and labels on social media to use the hashtag #fairplaymusic and share the fairplaymusic Spotify meme.

This sharing will go someway to help grow the movement and create awareness of how artists are being treated by corporations like Spotify.
